The Border Kingdoms design and art direction

For a second edition of the Gold-bestselling The Border Kingdoms, co-authors Alex Kammer and Ed Greenwood asked me to apply a more faithful WOTC-style design than the first edition had, and to work with their roster of artists to produce about 16 new illustrations. (I also selected much of the stock art to help keep the art costs down for this 129-page book.)

The Border Kingdoms was published in digital (PDF), softcover POD, and hardcover POD editions.

Software: Adobe Illustrator (vector design elements), Adobe Photoshop (vignetting, color correction, additional design elements), Adobe InDesign (design and layout).
